If you know, or suspect, that your MacBook has a faulty motherboard, you should be very careful who you trust with the repair. 3. Receive repaired device: On quotation approval, we proceed with repair. The device is delivered back to you, only post extensive QC.

3. Walk-out with a smile: MOST spare parts are readily available in inventory, so we can usually deliver the fastest TAT. Water damaged & motherboard issues take longer.

FAQs for MacBook Logic Board Repair
How stable will my MacBook be after motherboard repair? Is it a temporary fix or can I expect longevity?
We proceed with a motherboard repair only if we are reasonably confident of its stability post-repair. If the repair is only a temporary resolution, we clearly indicate that to the customer and advise against the service.
Also, we do provide a 3 months’ warranty with all motherboard repairs. In our experience, if the motherboard is not stable, it will act up within 2-3 weeks of usage, in which case you’re covered under warranty. If the motherboard works fine for over a month, then it is good to go the distance 🙂
Do you provide a warranty after the motherboard service?
Yes, we do. 3 months’ warranty on the repair done on the motherboard (MLB).
Does Fixxo provide a standby device for the duration of the MacBook repair?
Sorry we do not have the option of a temporary / standby device at the moment.
How much time will it take to repair my MacBook’s motherboard?
Unfortunately L4 or chip-level repair on the Main Logic Board (aka motherboard, aka MLB) is a slow, painstaking process. It requires a very specialized skill set and delicate, patient workmanship.
We shall provide you with a time estimate for repair after diagnosis. However, be prepared to wait for at least a week.
Will you “replace” my MacBook motherboard? Or “repair” it?
Motherboard replacement on a MacBook is quite expensive, while repair costs only a fraction of that amount.
So our best effort is to first try and repair the motherboard or MLB. If the repair attempt fails (some motherboards are just beyond repair), only then do we suggest customers to go for a motherboard replacement.
